aries girl Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 What do you guys think about commitment issues? Is it an excuse or do you feel that if you really like someone, you won't have this problem.
sin miedo Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I have my fair share of baggage, but if I really like someone, I won't hesitate to commit. I think that holds true for a lot of people. My GF is super sweet and didn't really push the whole commitment thing, which made me more comfortable and willing to make that step. Funny how that works.

Sure, commitment issues are real, but they can also be used as an excuse. If a guy just won't commit, he's probably got commitment issues. But if a guy sobs, "I can't commit because I have commitment issues!" he's probably using it as an excuse.
smackie9 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 When someone doesn't want to commit, they are not the one that has the issue......
LydiaLong Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Here is what I know to be absolutely true. When you truly love someone, you will do anything, remove any obstacle to be with that person. When a person hedges and makes excuses, it's clear that he/she just isn't into you. 1
walkingonair Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Commitment issues do exist. Sometimes a person has serious anxiety like panic attacks and feels physical symptoms just by thinking about commitment and realizing they are developing feelings for someone. Sometimes love isn't enough...
mortensorchid Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Commitment issues? I am not sure if they truly exist. I have been with my fair share of men in my lifetime and they seem to be the ones with the problem, not me. I am not in any rush for marriage to happen, but they have all seemed to be crazy that way. They dump me after a year and a half / two years, then barely a year later meet and marry the next one who comes along. And they are now divorced from all of them (save for one who will remain a bachelor his entire life because he will not commit to any woman out there - fact). Karma has a way of biting us in the ass in this arena.
