flowerpower22 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I really don't know what to do. Theres a guy who has liked me for 5+ years but I was always in a relationship so nothing would happen. About a year ago I broke up with long term ex and have been single since. On NYE we spent a lot of time together, kissing etc. He asked me on a date and I accepted. I keep blowing hot and cold about it though and feel I can't mess him around because of how long he liked me for. We know all the same people so theres a lot of pressure on the date too, especially as one of my close friends doesn't like or trust him (based on something that happened when we were at high school) - all my friends hated my ex and I don't think I could go through that again. I want to go, but the next minute I think it'll be a disaster. How do I know what to ?!
Gaeta Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 It's just a date, nothing else. It doesn't mean you will start dating. I don't know how old you are but it seems a bit silly to hold a grudge against someone because of something that happened in high school. People mature especially from teenage years to adulthood.
