Went on tinder & came across this attractive girl, she's into the same things I'm into, & automatically I have a crush on her. So I read her bio, & she says she's not looking for a relationship, only friends. I add her on instagram and she follows back, she likes only my selfies. So I'm confused, is she into me or nah? Should I make a move and send her a message??

Yes, make a move. Don't chat a lot with her on there instead arrange meeting with her somewhere and see how it goes. GL

Okay, I'll do it. Should i just ignore the "only friends" bit & assume she likes me though?

I'd assume nothing. She might like tons of guys Instagram photos or maybe you're just a great photographer.

Not looking for a relationship is something a lot of people put in their bios. That often means "Not looking for a relationship, but if one happens to find me..."

This girl could totally be into you or maybe she just wants to be your friend, but either way, you won't find out unless you open up a dialogue.

Personally, I never waste my time on women who claim to want "friends". They're not direct/honest enough to admit they want romance and are the type that usually want everything on their terms. Regardless of how hot they are, it's an instant turn off for me.

But my advice? Take it one step at a time. I mean this is a girl you've never even met or shared a single actual conversation with. Start with reaching out. If she responds, exchange a handful of messages. If that goes well, get her number and do a phone call. Like talking to her on the phone? Ask her out and see what she's like in person. Remember, some common interests and attractive pics have nothing to do w/chemistry.

Who uses Tinder to find friends? Call BS on that. It's code for something else but what I'm not sure. Can't hurt to ask her out and see what the deal is. You'll probably just hate yourself if you never try and walk away. So go there.

"Not looking for a relations and friends"

If her profile says that then respect that. I wouldnt expect anything more and also I wouldnt be suprised if she`d say no to a meet up.

I d have no expectations here and dont blame us here who told you its for "friends" only as the profile quite clearly tells you that.

So sick of women who are on dating sites and say only want to be friends. IT'S A DATING SITE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! THE LAST THING MEN WANT IS A WOMAN WHO WANTS TO BE FRIENDS, GEEZ!

It's not what you think. They are trying to avoid players and the like, so they request friendship. Anyone who is willing to put time into getting to know them first will have the opportunity to go out on a date.

Lot's of unsupportable extrapolations there...

Let me offer an alternative view. Women (in general) like men who desire them and show it. If a man's desire is so weak he can be put off by a statement like "I'm just interested in friends", just how much can he actually desire her to begin with? You can dress it up all you want under the guise of respecting her wishes, whatever, but if it puts you off then your desire was not all that great to begin with.

There are different reason of saying just friends in a profile....

They may day it because they get alot of people wanting to talk to them

She may just got out of a relationship and just wants something casual snd not serious

Some may just want to establish a friendship before any relationship starts.

Just meet her face to face and see what happens.

Remember she could be nothing like her picture.

If she 'likes' your selfies, there's your in, meaning 'hey, if you like the pix, well the flesh is incomparable. Let's get together xxx'

If she's a collector and not interested in meeting you, then you'll have that answer. If she's interested in meeting you, then take that step. Life is about steps. Sometimes there's a destination, sometimes it's just a walk.

I would move on. If she's looking for friends and you're looking for more then this is by definition not a match.

Now, you can go the route of taking the bait and trying the friend route, but be prepared to hear the old, "So you were only nice as a 'down payment' to have sex with me?!?" speech and other canned diatribes.

Go after someone that wants a relationship, if she's coming out of the gate with plausible deniability you're already in a losing proposition.

This is all based on the context of online dating.

If a woman goes on a dating site specifically and says she wants "friendship" in her profile, she isn't confident enough to admit why she's really there. So yes, that's a turn off. Also, you can't truly "desire" a complete stranger. At first you're simply reading a profile. But if she's not going to admit why she's there, I simply avoid dealing with her.

Let's talk about desire though. It should always be mutual. When a man/woman spend time together, he makes his intentions known, and she says she "just wants to be friends" she is rejecting him. But he's supposed to keep chasing after her hoping she eventually changes her mind? Persistence and patience in romance is a great thing. But only when both people have equal desire.

See I disagree. To me it says "I'm not wanting to settle down with any particular guy unless he's ****ing awesome for me, so I want to write 'just looking for friends' so after we hook up, I don't feel bad for not wanting to really date you.'

Be it cheating, emotional unavailability, or wanting to just have fun and play the field, GIRLS ARE NOT ON TINDER TO FIND PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS.

First, say you want to meet her. If she says yes and you actually do meet, that's a more positive step than just following each other on social networking. If you never meet, you never meet. Second, if and when you do meet and she says she is not interested in a relationship, you will know the truth. And third, if and when she does say that she is not looking for a relationship, how do you feel about that? Do you want to be friends or do you want something else? If the answer is the first, good for you. If the answer is the second, keep looking and decide whether or not you want to be friends with this woman or not.

There's a lot of good advice on here. I have to add she wrote "not looking to hook up." I don't want to be one of those guys, I would like to have a legit relationship with her.

We're both into photography, & she models for some good photographers. Thing is that she didn't like any of my serious photography photos, just pictures of me. I'm just gonna go for it, and send her a message. Any tips before I go in for the kill?
