I'm in this dance meetup group for 20's-30's year olds. I rsvp'd for an event and this random guy who's also in the group sent me a message, "do u like dancing?" "where do u go?" I'm like..first off, what 30 year old man...sends messages like that?

Isn't the point of Meet Up to, you know, meet people with similar interests? Maybe he saw that you signed up for the event, thought you were cute, and opened up the convo by asking about a topic he already knows you're interested in. He's a 30-year-old man in a dance group for 20 and 30 year olds, so I don't see what the problem is there. His grammar/punctuation are atrocious, though. Is that the part you have a problem with?

Yeah, his grammar/punctuation turned me off. He's a good looking guy, though, according to his profile picture.

A man that knows you by sight and name.

A man that wants to try dating you.

A man that may not be a good dancer but knows that women like to dance so he is willing to use his dance skills, or ignore his lack of dance skills and not be embarrassed faking it on the dance floor to meet and socialize with women.

A man that has poor message skills, social skills, and the level of dancing skills a questions at this point, is using his best game to win you over.

Is it his fault that his game is not good?

He can be a winner or a loser. From what information you have given I can not tell.
