xcheekyx Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have recently discovered that I have deep feelings for a member of the support staff at the place where I'm educated!!!!! Trouble is, I'm not sure whether he likes me back.... Before you say anything, he is not in a position of trust over me and he even told me himself he's not a teacher!!! THIS MAKES IT LEGAL, RIGHT? He is 15 years older than me and is single with no kids or girlfriends/ex wives. He lives in a flat on his own. 15 years isn't that bad is it? There is nothing wrong with that is there? You can't put an age on love!!!!! Anyway, he has recently started to smile at me in the most gorgeous way ever, in a way that he never smiles at anyone!! He usually smiles with a big grin and bears his teeth but this smile he has recently started to do to me solely is much more admirable. It nearly made me faint the first time he did it to me!! And I have watched him socialize with others and noticed that he never does that smile to ANYONE but me! Could this be a sign?? He also flirts with me big time. He always trys to be funny round me and shows off a bit. He always comes and talks to me if I'm alone and if I suddenly turn around and look at him, I nearly always catch him looking at me, before he turns away when I see him. The other day he called me special and one of my friends started shouting things like 'she loves you' to him. I sarcastically agreed with the comments and he walked off smiling widely and went bright red!! He has told me everything about him, including where he lives and is like a friend to me. I told some of my friends and they watch him when he's around me and they are adamant that he fancies me. What do you think? He also wished me a good holiday, and never goes until I say bye to him. After he has said bye to every1, he waits for me to look at him and then says bye to me solely!! What is he trying to tell me? He always sticks up for me and never tells me off. Even if I am the one in the wrong! Every time I apologize for something, he always tries to make me feel better by saying 'don't apologize, it's not your fault' and then goes red. It's kind of cute really. He always makes me feel better if I'm feeling upset. Does he fancy me? Please tell me.... Anyway. thank you for reading and your advice would be very much appreciated! Please don't try and deter me away from him as it won't work because the feelings I have for him are so strong that I can't get him off my mind!!!!! Please tell me your honest thoughts!!! Thanks XXxxXXxxXX

THIS MAKES IT LEGAL, RIGHT? He is 15 years older than me Provided you're 16 or over, yes, I believe it's legal under English law. 15 years isn't that bad is it? There is nothing wrong with that is there? You can't put an age on love!!!!! One of my best friends is in a relationship with 14 years age difference. They love each other deeply, but age has definitely been an issue for them. You should be aware of this as you go into a relationship. Please don't try and deter me away from him as it won't work because the feelings I have for him are so strong that I can't get him off my mind!!!!! Please tell me your honest thoughts!!! My honest thoughts are that he does sound keen on you, but that I feel a little uneasy about this relationship. Be At the very least, you should be careful and not rush. If you want to find out if he is interested, invite him to do something light and fun with you. Somewhere away from school and everyone else. Maybe a Saturday lunchtime thing? If it does work out, limit the time you spend together - don't automatically become the centre of each others life. Also don't rush into sex - give time to get to know each other.

You are well aware of the age-difference and you love him so much, so nothing should stop you from going ahead. Love is all that is needed for a successful relationship, the other problems are always there in any good and bad relationship. The differentiating factor is LOVE and you have it !!. Write it down in a piece of paper that you love him so much that age difference won't matter and keep it safely with you In the course of your life, if this damn 'age' try to create any problem go and see the paper and you will get over it. you have love with you , what else you require ?

There's a possibility he views you like a little sister - someone he wants to protect and watch over. you have love with you , what else you require ? How about mutual love? She has a crush on someone fifteen years older than her. She doesn't even know if he's interested and the thought of asking him out to lunch appears to be completely flabbergasting to her. She needs a lot more than a crush for this one. I'd say there's more than just a fifteen year age difference.
greenhorn Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Pocky, I understand what you said, but it was a goody-goody advice from me so it had to be like that.
