George002000 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Hello everyone I'm George, There's this girl I'm pretty much "in love with" but she lives along way from me. We see each other about 5 times a year (if that.) and I want to start chatting to her more. At the moment we text sometimes but not much. She lives about 2 hours away from me via the train (I'm happy to travel that.) Should I ask her if we can meet up? and if so how would you ask her via text? Thanks for reading and your help, George.
LydiaLong Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 George, Two hours is not a long way away. Send her a text and set up a date. Don't sound needy in the text.
Gaeta Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I understand you are infatuated with this girl but how do you think you will be able to maintain a relationship with someone living that far? Why would you on purpose pursue a long distance relationship?
Author George002000 Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 LydiaLong, how would you start this convo to ask her out for a date?
Gaeta Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Because she's the one.. You don't know how to start a conversation with her but she's the one? How old are you?
Author George002000 Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 I'm 15 and haven't had many dates with girls before.
LydiaLong Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oy vey. 15. "Hi, Sally!! Have you seen the new Star Wars movie? If not, would you like to go see it with me Saturday night?"
Gaeta Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oy vey. 15. "Hi, Sally!! Have you seen the new Star Wars movie? If not, would you like to go see it with me Saturday night?" And then he takes a 2 hour train, watch a 2 hour movie, and takes the 2 hour train back home? At 15 and 2 hours away, it's not a viable friendship or relationship.
