Exactly.

But for some the idea seems to be a forgone conclusion that Black guy = bad values and isn't that really what being a racist is all about?

The idea that one particular race is the litmus test for a value system is really just a back door way to justify other effed up attitudes about race.

I think it's even more insidious than that.

I'm known white guys, who in their circle of friends(or friends of a friend), have slept with the same girl(casually or relationship) and no one bats and eye.But most white male social groups only have one, two, or three minority friends at max. So for a girl to sleep with a black man, they usually aren't within that social ring so that girl basically "left the group."

Like how dare she have social connections outside of the one I'm familiar with or have access to?! She must be into thug types aka something I'm not. *eyerolls*

So because that one group of low life white guys, you can extrapolate that into all white groups act that way? And most whites only have a handful of minority friends?

See what you're doing there?

No offense, but you're speaking in generalities.

I happen to live in a "resort" town that's really been gaining steam when it comes to destination spots within the U.S. That "lifestyle" I'm referring to isn't just in the actual "hoods" of America. I see it all the time when I'm in the bar/club scene out here.

It's a real melting pot of that group, the EDM scene, hipsters, and young money. So people aren't just "stuck within the confines of their social circle".

You're speaking in generalities.

If that "lifestyle" isn't just in the hoods than it isn't a lifestyle. It's your area so you wouldn't have to ask.

Hunting is a big part of where I live. So you wouldn't ask someone if they own a gun or not cause it's just apart of life here.

Now meth..... is something you have to watch out for.

How is sleeping with a girl "low-life?" People date their friends, school mates, and co-workers. People know each other if you live in the same town long enough unless you are segregated.

The fact is that social circles are racially/economically segregated.

Because you say so. Right. Got it.

Or it's become you don't live in a homogenized area.

LOL. I've lived in the deep South, graduated from a liberal arts school, lived in big northern cities, and now a hipster college city.

Get yourself straight. The fact that I've seen this attitude in all of them with different variations speaks to the fact it's a larger phenomenon.

EDM and hipsters are trends. They didn't exist 100 years ago. The names change, flapper girls/juke joints/ ratchet etc. The attitudes have gotten better but the fact that this question is on this board is basically all the proof i need.
