At the beginning of the profile her son and daughter-in-law introduce themselves as being the "caretaker" of their mothers profile. And that in order to get to HER, us men had to go through them, the screeners, but they'd let the mom shoulders surf. And I'm thinking, "She's 40? How OLD are her kids?" Then I saw she had kids over 18...wow, off to an early start, but anyhow...ever seen profiles where they have people doing it FOR them?
Mrin Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I dunno - I think that's kinda cute. The other thing is it could all be sham. Women get hammered with vulgar propositions on OLD constantly. So saying you have to get by her kids might be a way of minimizing the amount of inbound crap. 4

I'd like to know how old you think someone should be before becoming a parent. Because your scorn for it comes thru loud and clear here time after time. Just having fun with people on the site. They'll probably answer you. It sounds like they're serious. I've of heard those cases of 'mom/dad, you really need to get out there and date!'. I read a Valentine's Day card my stepdaughter gave her dad when she was 16, telling him that he'd find someone some day. Kids can be like that. 1

Usually w these profiles the woman was reluctantly talked into OLD by the caretakers who want to see her find someone great. Keep in mind that putting yourself out there on the Internet just feels weird to many people so they need to be coaxed into OLD. If anything these people are MORE serious about finding someone. They find OLD uncomfortable but they are willing to do it anyway to meet the right person. I'm not seeing what you are asking though--are you asking for a good first email to send this woman? If you think she is lazy or playing games or cowardly--not my take but ok--then why would you even be writing a thread about her in the first place?
