How do you cope with sex between friends?

I have had this friend for 3 years and we have always filted with each other and we recently took it to another level how am i supposed to act when it comes to this person nothing was supposed to change but he is trying so hard for things not to change that they are changing what am i supposed to do or what would you do in that situation?

If you are really good friends then you need to sit down together and really talk about the friendship and each aspect of the relationship--including sex. Think and talk about what your hopes are for the relationships and whay you can realistically expect. Set some boundaries and stick to them.

Where do you want the relationship to go? Once you've crossed the 'sex' boundary you can't go back, but that doesn't mean you can't go forward and still have a good friendship---but the two of you must communicate with each other.

I agree that when the sex thing occurs your relationship has changed. It doesn't mean you can't still be friends like you were ( and still are ) but you can now be more to each other than you ever were as just friends. Hopefully it won't get weird and you are uncomfortable around each other. You know this person and you have 3 years of experience and respect. Just go with it and it might turn into something beautiful.

Peace...
