Every time I have been in a LTR it has been because I was madly in love with that person, we had a real connection, and I would not have even considered another person. The fact that you are feeling resentment after only 1 year tells me you are just not there for all the LTR stuff.

Thank you everyone. I will be thinking on all that you have said, but most importantly, I am going to try and stay positive and manifest the best outcome. Whether I am supposed to be with her or not, I think it will all be made clear to me in the future after I have learned all that I need to learn.

I disagree. OP, if I were you, I would still continue to date and sleep with other women even if I had gf. It's a personal issue for me. I feel like I haven't gotten the sex life I want in my life, so I have a lot of catching up to do. The only way to do that is having multiple girlfriends at the same time. That's my goal. As far as I'm concerned, the only boundaries are the ones you have created for yourself.

This is ridiculous. Unless it's specifically agreed upon by both involved in the relationship, that's just a hurtful thing to do.

That's a tough one. I'm not sure how I'd bring it up but I believe I've been in relationships in the past where the guy has lost all interest in me or he was unsure what he wanted. Instead of him bringing it up, the relationship just slowly festered until I was dumped out of the blue. I've since sussed out that they wanted to explore and date a bit more (these were guys I dated in my teens/early twenties). There is a lot of change during your teenage years and twenties and therefore your idea of what you want from a relationship and your own personality could change a lot too. I don't think the issue is so much about liking other women (people suggesting that he go and date other women are missing the point). The issue seems to be uncertainty about where the relationship is ultimately going and since you have been dating for a year, it's brought this into relief more.
