Ok don't lead with all the materialistic stuff or you'll attract the gold diggers.

How tall are you?

I never understood why this matters so much to women but that seems to be the #1 physical attribute you do care about.

Do you really think I would be able to get some dates?

Yes, I do.

Should I put my income level online or do I risk attracting gold diggers?

I just want to maximize my chances of getting dates

I see what you are saying, but personally, I wouldn't, for that very reason (unless you are looking for a trophy girlfriend). If you want to suggest that you are doing well then just say you are successful. What people consider success can vary anyway.

Online dating can be trial an error, so just see how it goes and change things accordingly.

Scarlet, maybe I should just have my professional photographer take some pics of me in a very nice outfit? That would drive the point home without having to be crude about it

Y'all are so nice in this thread, you're getting me very excited :p . I've wanted to have a girlfriend for 12 years but I've never felt this good about myself before.

Honestly, I think it is just the contrary.

Usually, women aim at men who are out of their league but have longer relationships with men who are less attractive than them. There are even scientific studies that prove that. Usually relationships last longer when the woman is more attractive than the guy. Not that I agree with that but I am just saying what has already been published. Have a look at this link - Why Beautiful Women Marry Less Attractive Men

That being said, I think OP can find a very attractive woman. A guy doesn't have to look like a movie star to attract a good looking woman. Women are more attracted to WHO the man is - is he confident? smart? good natured? successful?

This is so true. Now I know why my husband thinks that in a relationship, the woman should be better looking than the man.

I also agree that a man doesn't need to look like a movie star to attract a good looking woman.

on online dating sites, that has been the case

There has been a bunch of experiments done with profiles of unknown male models saying the most horrendous sh*t ever and getting 500000000000000 hits

It doesn't matter to all women. We all have different preferences.
