hippychick3 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Oh sweetie, you are with a jerk. No guy should ever say such a thing to you. Please have a pint of your favorite ice cream and dump this guy asap! 5
losangelena Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Oh god. Well, chalk that up to insensitive teenage behavior. Sorry. Tell him if he doesn't like big girls he can get another girlfriend. Does he say this kind of stuff a lot? 5
Author lovelifesmile Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Oh sweetie, you are with a jerk. No guy should ever say such a thing to you. Please have a pint of your favorite ice cream and dump this guy asap! it's seriously not that easy , at all
Author lovelifesmile Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Oh god. Well, chalk that up to insensitive teenage behavior. Sorry. Tell him if he doesn't like big girls he can get another girlfriend. Does he say this kind of stuff a lot? shocking thing is ... NEVER we've been together for almost 7 months and he's never told me I'm getting fat or gaining weight
angel.eyes Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Drop kick him to the curb...preferably next to a big girl. 3
AspenBaldwin Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 115 kilos is a lot, you should think about your health.
Author lovelifesmile Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 115 kilos is a lot, you should think about your health. I'm 115 pounds for that age that's not big at all 1
hippychick3 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 it's seriously not that easy , at all No, it's not. But, any man who can say such a hurtful and insensitive thing to you is not worth investing any more time with. You are so young and have a lifetime of boyfriends ahead of you. This one is NOT a keeper. It's painful at first, but the pain will subside and you will look back and be so happy you didn't waste any more time with such a jerk. 2
MidwestUSA Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 115 kilos is a lot, you should think about your health. I assumed pounds. OP, if this is the same guy you've written about before, please dump him before he starts affecting your school grades. You want to graduate, move on, and forget him. Good luck! 4

frus69 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So can a guy ever tell a girl he doesn't like that she's getting big?
Author lovelifesmile Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 So can a guy ever tell a girl he doesn't like that she's getting big? I mean sure but the way my boyfriend said it was completely harsh
hippychick3 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So can a guy ever tell a girl he doesn't like that she's getting big? No. I'm pretty sure the girl who is getting "big" already knows she is big. Him telling her that will not help at all. 1
losangelena Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So can a guy ever tell a girl he doesn't like that she's getting big? Yes, but there's a way to do it without being a douchecanoe, and besides, I'm not sure any girl who weight 115 pounds could be considered "big." What, is she an 8-year-old or something? 5
AspenBaldwin Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I'm 115 pounds for that age that's not big at all I'm sorry I'm from another country and I read it as kilos. My bad. 2

What, is she an 8-year-old or something? I even asked friends do they think I'm getting fat and they have all asked why would I ask such a question
losangelena Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So can a guy ever tell a girl he doesn't like that she's getting big? Besides, this thread is not about that. Please, let's not even take it there.
hippychick3 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 115 lbs at any height is NOT even close to being fat. 3
Author lovelifesmile Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 115 lbs at any height is NOT even close to being fat. thank you really appreciate the advice
losangelena Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 115 lbs at any height is NOT even close to being fat. Unless OP is like, a very stout midget. 2
lollipopspot Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 me and my boyfriend were talking today and he says “i peeped that you been gaining weight I didn't want to say anything but I know you were going to get mad... then says "you need to slow down on the eating because you know how I feel about big girls. Ugh, I don't know if this is even salvageable. He's just told you that if you gain even a small amount of weight he won't like you anymore. Your value to him is in how you look. I hope for something better for you. And some raised consciousness for him. This attitude is going to sabotage relationships for him. 1
sportygirl89 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Truth is I weigh 150 lbs and people think I've lost weight. I consistently lift weights. Have you thought about lifting weights if you stay with him? But I'd honestly dump a guy if he ever said that to me. 115lbs is normal weight, if anything depending on height under weight.
newmoon Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 the way i interpret statements like this is that the guy is falling out of attraction to/with you. it could be for any number of reasons and perhaps weight is the easiest for him to mention. the bottom line, regardless of his insensitive comment, is that you are not attractive to him in some way. that's what the statement essentially means. so, you can stay with someone who feels that way about you, or you can make a more positive choice for yourself and respond accordingly... by leaving him for someone who likes you as you are. 1
TunaCat Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Whaaaat? Your boyfriend is INSANE and what he said is not okay. If you choose to stay with him, you're telling him that you are okay with him being critical. Dump him now and focus on your grades. 1
