I had a good first date with a lovely woman a few days ago and I'm just wondering how often I should be communicating with her without coming across as too clingy but still conveying to her that I'm interested? I'm probably over analyzing it but that's what I do. We went out on the 23rd and I didn't text her Xmas eve but I did text her the next day wishing her a Merry Christmas. I didn't text the day after Xmas but I was planning on texting her today (Sunday) at some point and ask about a second date. Just wondering. I didn't want to over do it by texting her everyday but I don't want her to forget about me either! I'm 31 and dating is just very stressful for me so I'm always wondering if I'm doing something wrong or not doing enough. Thanks!

As she initiated contact since your first date? Did you tell her you were interested in seeing her again? What was her reaction to that? Call her tomorrow and ask her out on a 2nd date for when ever you 2 are free. Don't develop a text relationship. Get that 2nd date rolling. If she is declining then you move to next.

First date went well. She thanked me and said she had a good time afterward. She hasn't initiated contact since but she has been very responsive when I contact her. We have both been kind of busy with the holidays and all but I'll ask her for a second tomorrow. Thanks.
