cheetahlove Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 So there's this guy and we know each other from nearly five years ago and we both liked each other back then but nothing ever happened and then he moved away. Two months ago he messaged me saying he broke up with his girlfriend and he has moved back to the city and we messaged a little bit but not much. Then at the start of this month I messaged him and we started talking again and basically he says he still likes me and no one can change how someone truly feels and I still like him and he can see us being apart of each others future but we need to decide what part it is that we will play but also that his emotions are really screwed up and he can't think straight (which is understandable because of the break up) but that we should catch up. It's now been two weeks since we last talked. Before when we first me (four years ago) we would be constantly talking with each other and he would never stop messaging me. Do you think I should message him again? And if so what should I say because I really have no idea how to get the conversation started and what to say and I don't want it to be awkward.
czen Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Maybe just ask him for a drink? There is nothing strange about that, you just want to catch up. But I would be careful, since he himself seems to admit that he still getting over his ex. If you meet him, play it slow. Don't expect too much.
