Digger123 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Sometimes in life we have to make a choice to let go of someone who we know doesn't truly want us no matter how invested or the depth of love we have for them! It's a cruel separation when you walk away from the one you Love so much but in the long run he won't hurt you anymore. He doesn't mean to hurt you but the thing is he doesn't know how to love or be loved! He wants to but he will self destruct at the stage he was arrested in development as a child. I can't blame him even though I see his amazing potential, but if he doesn't see it or believe it then there is no team work for us to build a relationship! I walked away because I love him. He didn't communicate which that tends to come from a depth of hurt. I need communication and I out grew him sadly so! Miss him but he didn't have the endurence to keep the relation going beyond his selfish desires. Walk away from it! Don't try to drag someone with you who doesn't have the ability! The definition of insanity is going around the same mountain getting the same results! End it no matter the hurt because in the long run the hurt we experience in letting go won't compare to the turmoil we endure if we stay! 1
Chronotrgr Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I know that feeling, I left my girlfriend after she told me living together wasn't working but she still wanted to remain in the relationship and be close, it was too much of a step backward for me, I wanted nothing more to be a priority to her and for her to make a solid effort of prioritising time for the two of us, I hate that I ever had to ask for that especially since I lived with her all that time, but she never made that effort and probably never will, she has the "I do what I want!" Mindset, completely agree with the poster, sometimes you just don't have a choice other than to move on without them otherwise be prepared for recycle and repeat. 1
