A question for the ladies:

When it is winter and cold outside..

What are you doing in you social life?

Would you say that you date less when it is cold outside?

I always wonder what women are doing in winter.

All bundled up and probablly staying at home or with friends?

In bed alone, eating popcorn and watching movies?

You're from California and you start a thread about when it's cold lol

I live in Montreal where we have 5 months of winter. Five months of being buried under snow at -30 and pinch dark at 3h30 pm.

We bundle up and we go out. Movies, pubs, clubs, pool halls, dog parks are full.

You do know that California's climate varies widely, from warm weather to subarctic climate depending on latitude, elevation, and proximity to the coast, right? We're not all in sunny San Diego. Last week, it was in the 20s, and it snowed all weekend where I was here in California.

That all having been said, I'm still outdoors, just less skin is visible.

What do women do in winter? How about what men do in winter? We're not an entirely different species, you know.

Don't tell anyone but we are at Our Secret Women Clubs.... But shhhhh we aren't supposed to tell anyone with XY chromosomes. Don't tell anyone it was me that told you ? I don't want to get kicked out of the secret club. It's very active during the winter.

I knew it!

I was going to guess that, but I didn't want to embarrass myself by being so obvious.

You just need a big bowl of poutine to keep you warm

There are plenty of places you can go out to where you're indoors and not effected by the weather..LOL

I did laugh at what Gaeta said though because us Californians have it easier than a lot of other people. I mean most of the year up until about mid November, it was pretty much 80-100 degrees regularly. It's only gotten extremely cold (30-40 degrees) in the last month or so.

But I personally love this time of year. It's a great excuse to "cuddle indoors" more than usual. :D

Snow in winter?! Half your luck. If I had that, I'd be skiing.

But with no snow, I don my favourite boots and coat and go out as usual.

I wasn't aware that girls hibernate during the winter. When will they be back OP?

Around here it is usually after the rainy season.

We all know for a fact that women do not go out when it is raining, because it will mess up their hair.

When the sun goes down or is behind clouds, unless you're in the desert or it's Santa Ana conditions/offshore wind, it's freakin' cold there. The air off the ocean is cold.
