Gruggles Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 So I dated this girl for a little over a year in highschool. She was awesome, but I was just a dumb young buck not ready to settle down, so I broke it off. We didn't talk for a year or so, I dated other people, she dated other people, we moved on. I ran into her every now and again due to being in a small town and we would say hey, how's it going, nothing really. Fast forward 4 years. I went out of town to visit my buddies for the weekend a week ago. I ended up running into this girl at a party we were at. Me and my friends were hanging out with her and her friends so we were chatting a little bit throughout the night. Well, the night ended with us all riding back to my buddies house on the drunk bus and I paid for me and a friend and the girl and her friend to ride, just $2 a person to be nice and make things easier for everyone in their drunken state. We get back around 4am and about 6 of us are just sitting in the living room talking about the night and just BSing. As the time passed, people started to go to their rooms to go to bed until it ended up being just me and this girl. We stayed up and talked from probably 5:30 to 7 and then I brought her back to her house. Fast forward 2-3 days and I shoot her a text saying, "Hey, if you come to town this weekend, lets hang out". It's Christmas break so I know she is. She says "Sounds good!" and that we should go to this place that she went the weekend before and talked about a ton the night that we stayed up. The plans are set for this weekend, but we made them Tuesday and it is Friday now. I'm having a really hard time figuring out if I should text her again before then and the whole situation with reigniting an old flame is completely new to me, but very exciting! She is a really amazing girl and I have grown up a lot in the past years so I would like to give this a serious shot. I don't know what exactly to ask, but any advice would be appreciated! Also happy to answer any questions that will help clear anything up!!! Thanks
