jaynesnow Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Yesterday was my graduation day ..a day i had been eagerly waiting for...the previou day me and my boyfriend had a lil misunderstanding about him coming home late..by late, almost midnight when he should be home by 9pm..so he uses the fight not to attend my graduation from the university. He knew it was an important day to me. Was that even fair? He should have put the beef aside attend the event then resolve the matter later. We havent talked since the day we argued . He didnt even want to know how my graduation day went buy...what do you guys think i should do...:-((
bluefeather Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Was that even fair? That depends on the fight. 1
basil67 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I'm thinking that this "lil misunderstanding" probably wasn't so "lil". Did you say anything horrible to him during the fight? 1
bathtub-row Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Dump him. This is unacceptable behavior.
smackie9 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Sounds to me you feel the argument wasn't much of anything, but to him it was the straw that broke the camel's back.....like he is done with you.
hippychick3 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Regardless of the severity of the fight, the fact that he couldn't get past it to attend such an important event in your life speaks volumes. Either he chose to not go because he doesn't value your relationship anymore, or he chose not to go because he is that spiteful. Either scenario doesn't bode well for a future with him. 1
Wewon Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I don't know what was said during the fight or the overall nature of the relationship, but I do know that when it gets to the point where something like this happens its a sign that things are pretty bad and need some serious going over. Questions: Did you two generally get along? Up until this fight was there a string of issues that were constantly being brought up and hashed out? During the fight, were things said that could be considered cruel or disrespectful? I agree that this was either "straw that broke the camels back" behavior or he is simply very petty and vindictive.
