Flirt a little beforehand & do you best to ascertain that she is interested before you ask.

Every situation is different and can be approached differently. Give us an example of the situation you're referring to and we can better serve you. Are you talking about meeting a girl at a bar? In the supermarket? At school? At a friends house? Online?

A bar or supermarket. I have not got much money which makes buying dinner difficult. But any input welcome. Thanks.

In a supermarket you can go up to them and make a comment about something that is happening around you then just straight up ask them out after a little chit chat if they seem interesting.

 

In a bar you can take time to chat with them get to know them a bit. Easiest thing to do is hang out at the bar where a lot of women come to order drinks and just chat them up when they come by that way you just seem friendly and less desperate. Then get their number if you like them and if they seem cool after talking to them or ask them to go home with you.

 

Key is to put yourself out there and try and you will learn and eventually succeed. Good luck.
