Me and my officemate have a project together. We met over coffee during the weekend as I asked her to sign some documents. We had a nice chat, we looked straight in the eye and she kept smiling. So did i.

As we were just finishing, i asked her how long it will take for her to review and sign the documents, she said tomorrow. So i said we'll meet up in the same place at the coffee shop.

But then she asked for my home address and asked to meet there instead... i told her with a flirty smile "are you sure?, the coffee shop is easier to find" then she said its not a problem for her if to meet up in my place.

should i take this as a sign? I never imagined me and her before, but now i cant take my mind off it. Am i overthinking? Im thinking i could open up to her tomorrow and be romantic at my place. ;).

What do you guys think?

She wants you..... No way would she put herself in that position without thinking about it.

She may simply not want to discuss business in a public place.

Based on that alone, I don't think you have a green light. It's also very dangerous to date somebody you work that closely with.

One thing i can say is this document and our meet up is not a closely guarded secret. Its just some approval forms and some technical data she must sign. Not something that cant be done in public.

And it happened 3 times. First was when we were leaving, she asked to come by my place. then, as i was going down the taxi we both rode, she asked where my apartment was. I said "five buildings down the block". Then i texted her "im a little shy to have visitors. My place is messy ha-ha" she replied "lol. its okay with me. Just text me tomorrow if you're home"

Am i assuming too much? I could be wrong though. Lol

I stand by my first post. Clean up your pad and invite her over.

That is a possibility. But if so, why was meeting at the coffee shop acceptable the first time?

OP, if it looks like a duck, and swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck..... its probably a duck. My guess would be you start with getting business taken care of. Stick to flirty but not overt. Then when you finish you can offer her a drink to a job well done, then if she wanted an excuse to stick around you'll be able to tell?

So do as Redfisher suggested. Clean up your place. Have some snacks & a bottle of wine, plus other beverages available. Invite her over.

You wont have to, She seems to be willing to do the work.. Have her come over and do the paper work.. Then make her a coffee and shoot the breeze for a while..She''ll let you know with her body language

If she wants to be smashed she wants to be smashed. If she is this forward about going to your place, she will be forward to take you by the hand and guide you to your bedroom. Pack the nightstand with condoms and lube.

Get the papers signed, get her liquored up and Treat her like a farm animal. Make sure to tell her to wear high heels because magnets on her ankles will be much easier to fit on the straps.

Make sure you let Human Resources know as well straight away Monday morning so you can get your desk cleaned out as soon as possible. Since you don't seem too smart to begin with, you may need a little head start on your new job search.

Whatever happens outside of the office stays outside of the office. HR doesn't have any business being in people's private lives off office premises unless there is a signed contract or agreement stipulating no office romances or sexual contact. Most companies have had to drop this because it infringes on people's rights.

Agreed! Just act professional at the workplace and agree beforehand that nothing shall effect work even if it doesnt work out. I have dated and have also broken up with several men all the while working with them. I had zero problems, as our jobs were worth way more to us than our romantic problems.

Sounds like she is definitely interested. Have fun!
