lostsoul6486 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Went out with a girl I met online last week and had a great time. There was no awkwardness, not even at the very beginning. We clicked almost immediately and had a really good date. When I was dropping her off at home, she told me that she had a good time and that she hopes I would like to do it again. I told her yes and that was that. We have texted every day since that date. Yesterday, I texted her that I wanted to take her up on that second date and that we should set something up. She said that she would love to, but she was driving at the moment and she'll text me later. Haven't heard from her since. Girls are frustrating sometimes lol 1

If she doesnt text soon you can leave it at that.
Author lostsoul6486 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Yeah.. dont have high hopes. If she doesnt text soon you can leave it at that. Yeah, I know lol. It's just that it would be so much better to be straightforward and say, "Hey I don't think this is going to work out." I guess I just wanted to vent. On to the next one.

Maggie4 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 You've been texting everyday. If she wasn't interested after the first date, she would have stopped texting long ago. But you never know, an ex-bf can reappear. How long do you wait before declaring her missing?
radwimps Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I think in cases like this it usually has nothing to do with you. I've done something similar to girls and I can think of a couple cases why this happens : 1. She has interest but it's developed to being overwhelming interest yet. 2. There is another guy that suddenly took attention away from you (ie ex-BF, or another guy she started seeing before she met you) Your option is to follow up after another couple days, but if she still shows little/no interest, then it's probably best if you moved on.

If there's one thing I've learned it's to not try and rationalize why things like this happen. They just happen and that's that. I would just like it if people were more straightforward. I mean, I don't need all the details. A simple, "Sorry, but no," text would suffice lol
