And this all started last Thursday. I was called by a woman looking for a nephew of mine that she was interested in meeting. She mistakingly thought he lived at my house because my phone number is still under my fathers name in the phone book and my nephew also has the same name. I told her that he didn't live here and that was the end of that, but it wasn't. We got to talking and stayed on the phone for three hours just asking each other questions and trying to get to know each other and the conversation went very well and we even agreed that it was weird for two strangers to sit on the phone for hours and just talk. The next day she calls me from her work just to say hi and we talk for a few more hours (she's the boss there so I guess she can do what she wants) and again everything went well. That night she calls me and I ask her to meet me and after about an hour or so of trying to coax her to meet me, she finally agrees and she decides to stop by my house but she doesn't get out of her car and that's understandable. She parked on the street and I walked down there to meet her and I was pleasantly surprised to find she's very attractive (she's 25 while I'm 33 btw). She again brings up the weirdness of all this and that she's never done this before and I try and reassure her and tell her that I'm just as nervous and she is. Anyway she stays for about ten minutes and she tells me to call her the next day and I did but I got her voice mail and left her a message that said I called to see how she was doing but since then, she hasn't attempted to call or contact me at all and I haven't called her again either. My question is should I attempt to call her one more time or just wait to see if she calls. I'm thinking she lost interest after meeting me but it didn't seem that way when we last spoke. Maybe she was being nice? I'm just looking for advice.

She met you and she might have liked the personality but she didnt like the package. No offense.

She probrobly was not attracted to you in a physical way.

I figured she wasn't interested after not returning my call but we hit it off so well over the phone. I thought maybe that might mean something but I guess not. I'm no Adonis but I'm not ugly either and it's too bad that she considers the wrapper more important instead of the total package. Oh well.

Everyone gets off to a good start over the phone.

As always : One needs a picture first...no matter how nice the inside of the package is, you have to see the wrapping as well...

Sad but true.

There are exceptions to every rule and ppl meet and fall in love with someone who is far different than the image they perceive for the * perfect person *

But in order to do that , you have to let go of your image , so you can expand to the other possibilities in life.

How true. Thanks for the advice people although I guess I really knew the answer to start with.

even if you aren't a bad looking guy, she might just not be attracted to you. We all have our own personal tastes. I'm sure you can relate too...lots of guys think a particular girl is hot and u find her very plain, and theres some girl you think is real cute who you friends would say 'she's ok'. Bad luck, but an interesting story nonetheless.
