People do crazy things in the name of love or a person they like alot......

 

Whats the craziest thing someone has done that showed you they liked/loved you?

 

i have two things that my ex did... one: met him in a yahoo chat, we exchanged numbers and talked on im and phone for about 3months everyday before we started dating (we havent met each other yet, but were dating)...he wanted to come see me about a month into us dating, so i was like sure you can come over and we'll do something..

 

so we made plans to do something the next day, and he goes, " i aint got no gas in my car, but ima get there somehow...*silence for a minute* eh baby i gotta go, ill call you when i get back" ok he left at like 1am...i get a call at like 3am and first thing out of his mouth is," i aint gonna be able to see you tomorrow"..

so im like um ok, and why not..and he goes because im locked up...

 

see he didnt have much money and he really wanted to see me...so he and a friend went out and tried stealin gas from a car and was arrested...the action was stupid cuz it wasnt all that serious, we could have waited to meet, or i could have driven to him..but it was sweet in a way..it showed me he liked me alot...

 

second: he was a writer, and he lied to me about somethings simple stuff like being into sports and doing certain things (im very active, and he likes to sit, think,and write)...i went on a trip to buffalo to visit my dying grandmother and being with her made me question our relationship at the time, because he lied and didnt seem grateful for things i do (posted bail for him with the gas fiasco)..so since he was a writer i made him write me a paper on appreciation and redemption..in it i made him come clean about the lies and why he did it,etc...i didnt really think he would write it, but he did...ten pages...i asked him why he did it...his reply:

 

"I love you, and this is my way of righting the wrong i did,plus i'll do damn near anything for you girl ;) "

i used to ballroom dance, like latin, jive etc and at the time i had a dance partner and left to go for a lesson which was involved with the entire school and so there were about 300 people in one massive ballroom area all getting lessons.. next thing i turn around and guy who i knew liked me had dressed up like a ninja , no shoes or anything and was holding a bunch of flowers and a present of some kind.. i was so embarrassed .. he had his hair tied up like a sumo wrestler or something.. was sooo sweet but so funny.. he handed them to me and then turned around and walked out.. turned out to be a very expensive perfume that i loved very much

Any person who would use so-called love for me as an excuse or justification to commit a crime is NOT a person whose love I would want or cherish! That bespeaks a man with a serious problem in judgement, if not an outright character flaw! I certainly wouldn't bail him out, instead I would never have contact with him again, that kind of 'love' I can do without.

 

 

The sincerest thing anyone has done to show me they love me is to give up something important to them in order to do something that they knew would be important to me, without my ever asking or knowing they were doing it. My mother gave up the best job she ever had and one she loved; gave up her friends and her home to move across the country to be near me and help me when I was destitute. Had I known she was doing this I would have stopped her somehow and that's why she didn't let me know until it was done. She gave me the opportunity to put myself through college.

 

My husband has done countless similar things for me---too many to list and none could I say without crying thinking about them. I remember them when we argue and I get over the arguments quickly.

 

Nothing ever involved illegal activity.

This happened in the first year of dating my guy. (before I moved in with him obviously) We'd planned a wonderful romantic night for New Year's Eve. I'd spent the previous two nights at his place, and woke up the following day SICK as a dog. Really bad cold, worst one I'd ever had. I thought I was gonna die, that's how awful I felt.

 

I tried my best to suck it up but as the day wore on, I felt worse and worse. He ended up driving me home (I needed my own bed!) and part way home I decided to drop him off at the nearest subway station close to my house. I told him CALL me when you get in. (It was about 9pm then) Got home, crawled into bed. 10pm came along, still nothing. SO I called him, the line was busy...Busy at 10:15, 10:30, 11:00. I was FREAKING OUT! Anyway, I called a friend of mine and she came and picked me up, we drove back to his house (20 mins away) I knocked on the door, he answered, with the WTF look on his face and was laughing! Told him the line was busy and was worried...blahblahblah, typical male. He forgot to call me. The cats had knocked the phone off the hook and he didn't know until I showed up at his door, in my PJ's, winter coat and all. Freezing my boobs off for him! LOL! He told me I was crazy, that he loved me and then told my friend to take me back home and put me to bed!

 

Hey, I was sick and inlove....Needed to know if he was OK! :laugh:

i'm not gonna go into great detail but i flew straight across the country for this girl got stranded in a state where i knew no one i had no where to sleep slept on a cardboard box on a street corner till my next flight all so i could go to some dinner party she was going to that she thought was very important and thought i should be there......

 

i don't think anything crazy has ever been done for me

I had someone physically mutilate himself by deeply carving my name into his arm - leaving a permanent scar, and attempting to cut off one of his toes and mail it to me out of "love". Now that was crazy.

i think dr. phil right about now would be sayin how these are sure signs of a serial killer/stalker type thing...........

i think that was more than just crazy

When I was in HS this guy I met in Canada on a school trip made me a mix tape and professed his love for me even though I lived 10 hours away. I had only known him for a day but he was convinced he loved me. Those were the days. :lmao:

lol..yup those were the days...i had this dude in middle school swear he was in love with me...he was so sweet, sent me flowers, brought me lunch, and made me mix tapes..ooooh that was the first time a dude went out of his way for me...didnt really appreciate it then because i wasnt feeling him at the time, but now that im older and think on it, i appreciate it now..damn those were the days :love:

Yeah me too. I know my Hubby loves me...

 

The thing is, I'm the crazy one and he's much more serious...So I'm not sure, maybe he HAS done something crazy for me and I didn't even know it! :laugh:
