I couldn’t agree more. What really is hurting me most is the need for closure. I never got that, she basically ran the other away once she knew that I wanted more. The common problem in these rebound situations is that they get intense and the relationship moves quickly. When the honeymoon period fades they disappear or start behaving badly or in a manner that contradicts what they’ve been putting across, all to relieve this feeling of being expected from and disappear. And in my case no explanation and no closure. Cowards !
