makimaki323 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Hello All, any advice or guidance to what’s going on in my life will be greatly appreciated. To start off, I’m a 23 m year old that is working at this one Spanish company for almost half a year, where the primary language is Spanish. Most of the workers in the company speaks Spanish fluently but I'm sort of the odd one out that speaks more of English rather than the primary language there. Recently a new coworker came in and I fell for her immediately, as time went on my feelings for her gradually increased, every time I saw her my heart wouldn't stop racing and I felt super nervous. I guess I’m just super infatuated with her from the start Since she came in to the company, I had a few brief conversations with her and I’m not quite sure if I saw any signs of interest showing. But my feelings exploded went through the roof as I tried to cover it up. Up to now, i still haven't got a real chance to talk to her personally, where as times i would be too busy or when i see her lunch time there are just too many people around. Anyways, the real question here is what do I do from here? I would love to a have chance to date her. However I don’t want to come on too strong or anything or make a situation awkward. And if things don’t go the way I want it to be, what can I do to stop this infatuation? I feel like there no stopping to these feelings and every time I see her I get a bit sad inside.
Ami1uwant Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I don't know ehat the customs are in your country, but here in the USA it's quite common that people will not date people they work with regularly. Especially in career fields. Some refuse to date coworkers. Others will date people they font regularly work with at a large employer. In jobs that people are just working and not for a career like retail or restaurant then they are more open to dating coworkers.
