Gretzky99 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Just curious, but how many of you had an experience where both you and your ex, both mutually decided to go NC from the day of the breakup either in your most recent breakup or the past?? And if so, did you or your ex eventually decide to contact for a reconciliation? With me, I was the dumpee a little over 4 months ago, and while I tried everything I could to plead and beg my ex to not go through the break-up, once I realized that day that she had made up her mind, I stop all forms of communication. She, too, also stopped all forms of communication with me, so we both mutually decided to go NC, without verbally saying it.
Chronotrgr Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Yep, more or less same situation, except I'm only on day 4 of NC, she hasn't contacted me, I doubt she cares to be honest, she's never fought for me in the past and considering she kicked me out she's probably not gonna fight for me now, I was the one who ended the relationship and yet I'm the one who's feels dumped, she wanted to stay in the relationship, basically have her cake and eat it, she confused me because she set a lot of terns on seeing each other which just wouldn't work. I'm focusing now on myself, getting my own place and all of that, it's hard though, mostly because you know your reasons for NC but for all you know their reasons could just be that they don't care where as most peoples reason's for NC is because they care too much.
mightycpa Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Gretzky, you keep asking the same question in a bunch of different forms. You are done. Done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done. As of right now, my personal record is 14,295 days. Beyond that one, there are dozens of dates where I don't actually remember the last day I thought of or talked to them. Trust me when I say that not only does it happen, it is normal. Your EX is your EX. They move on, they live life without you and they may or may not enjoy it, but one thing is for sure, they endure life without you. They it do it for days, then weeks, then months, then years, then a lifetime. Some do it quite happily. Others, not so much. But nobody is so unhappy that they find you. You can be happy, wildly so, but you are your own obstacle. You simply have to accept it first. Seriously, that's how it works. Edited December 6, 2015 by mightycpa 1
