cookiemonster26 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Just out of curiously, how would you feel if the person your seeing was rude to a sales person at the mall or a waiter/waitress or even people in public. Curious what everyone thinks
AspenBaldwin Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I would think: How far will it be until he treats ME like that. 1

StBreton Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Holier than thou? Entitled? Lack of social skills? (oblivious) Insecure? White trash? Alcoholic? Could be any of the above but it doesn't bode well for the person they are dating. If you're dating someone who exhibits this behavior...ask them why they do that. If they're in complete denial, get defensive, don't care, etc. I'd bow out. If they didn't realize they are acting this way and say they will adjust their behavior, give it a shot and see how it goes. Most people learn how to behave appropriately from their parents/peers. Some lack this education.

StBreton Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) I think maybe he has anger issues ? Anger is a secondary emotion What is under anger is lack of emotional control (root cause could be any of the things I listed already above or could be frustration or disappointment but under these last 2 are entitlement/unfulfilled expectations) Edited November 29, 2015 by StBreton
TunaCat Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 That would be the last time I ever went out with them. Absolute deal-breaker for me.
regine_phalange Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Not impressed and not positive for the future either.
joseb Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Unless this was a once off occurrence and the person was somewhat justified (eg the staff were rude first( thus would be a complete deal breaker. Is this a real issue or just a hypothetical question?
Zippy2000 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Depends how long you have been seeing the person. Everyone should be treated equally. Its a matter of time before he/she treats you the same way after the honeymoon period. Everyone should be treated with respect right across the board with consistency. Just watch out!
Grumpybutfun Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 To see the true character of a person, see how they treat those who serves them, not those whom they serve. G 2
