wheream_i Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I did some travelling this past week, sat in a couple of airports and did some people watching. I couldn't help but notice how many gorgeous women are flying alone. Of course, my mind starts to wander. "I wonder where she's flying to? I wonder if she's going to see a lover? What a lucky guy. I wonder if she'll be seated next to me." Has anybody here ever had a romantic airport encounter? Ever had anything turn into something after just sitting next to them at the gate or on the plane? I guess it's kind of fun to imagine those kinds of things when you're on a two hour layover.
Glitters Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Fantasy is a nice word. Takes mind off from waiting at airport delays.
losangelena Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I had a failed networking connection with a white dude named James Brown at an airport bar one time. Does that count? lol Guy asked what I did for a living, gave me his card, said he might have some work, and he never followed up to my email. What a swell man, white James Brown. 1
Maggie4 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Yes I had relationships started from meeting people on the plane. Problem is, they were all long distance :-((
loverboy69 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 No not any relationship but sex.... yeah. I had a layover flight close to midnight at SFO and the terminal was empty. But a gorgeous male passenger came up and decided to sit right next to me. I looked around the terminal and couldn't figure out for the life of me why he decided to sit right next to me when there were rows and rows of empty seats everywhere else. He was very forward and started asking me a series of questions. I could tell he was extremely smart but he kept playing dumb like he needed my help with simple everyday tasks. Fast forward our flights landed in my hometown. Turned out his hotel was just 2 blocks from my condo and asked if I could be his local tour guide. After we landed we met up for "drinks," and life happened. 1
ASG Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 A good friend of mine met her long term boyfriend on a plane. It was a long haul flight and they were sat next to each other. They talked (mostly about how he'd just separated from his wife). They swapped numbers, but she didn't think anything would come of it. But then after they both got back home he texted and they went on dates and it happened. They've been together 4 years now.
