Why does she want to stay in my life?

So, I broke up with my ex girlfriend of three years ago about two months ago. It was a mutual break up, and we both agreed that we needed some time apart. Now, I'm single but I've found out she's been hanging out with this other guy for awhile. She claims they're friends, but she's even went as far as to take him her parents house for thanksgiving dinner. Maybe I'm wrong, but that sounds like they're more than friends to me.

 

Now, I've tried to ignore this girl. One day she called me twelve times, crying when I eventually picked up. I told her I didn't have time for the games (claiming you're going to get back with me but dating someone else) etc. She asked could she atleast call me sometimes. She called me this morning, and I didn't answer. She then sent me a text wishing me a happy thanksgiving.

 

So, can someone explain to me whats going on? I'm seriously on the verge of blocking her for good. I just don't have time for the games. I care about her ,and I would take her back. Her games, however, are just getting on my nerves.

I'm going to assume that you broke up with her for a reason. I'm going to assume she gets on your nerves on a regular basis. Why in the world would you take her back?

 

Do this girl and yourself a favor. Cut it off for good, forever. Leave no doubt.

It's something selfish people do. My ex did the same thing to me. It was a weird situation, but I started dating her while she was separated from her husband.....well they wanted to try again, but she always kept me close by as a back burner guy. I knew this, yet was stupid enough to continue it. Don't be that person. Cut her off completely and she'll eventually move on.

If you ignore her, she'll go away.

Hang up when she calls. Don't respond to texts, emails, social media (in fact block her).

In time she will get bored and go away.
