Elephantlover Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 So I met this guy online. We had our first date almost a month ago. We've been going on a date a week. We both have really busy schedules. Since our first date he hasn't logged onto his online profile. He asked for my number and has texted me first almost everyday. I've only texted him first once so far. A couple of days ago he texted me and told me he liked me, thinks I'm reall pretty and wants to continue to get to know me but if I'm looking for something to move faster then it won't work because his schedule isn't exactly dating friendly. I said I liked him too and didn't have any complaints. He said okay cool, I just didn't want you to think I was blowing you off. Does that sound sincere or does it sound like an excuse and he's just trying to be nice? We haven't talked since then but he is also going to visit his family for thanksgiving so I know he's busy and maybe he will message me when he gets back? I'm probably just reading too much into it. Is it possible he's more comfortable now because he told me how he feels and I reciprocated his feelings?
Scarlett.O'hara Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 He has expressed how he feels and what he wants so I see no reason to doubt his sincerity. Now you have to decide how long that pace is going to work for you. If you decide you want something more serious then you should pay him the same courtesy and let him know how you feel. The only thing you might want to clarify with him now is whether he wants to be exclusive or free to see other people.
