What's everyone's thoughts on when girls wear low rise jeans? Girls does it bother you when they slip down or you just accept that it might happen?

Personally I think they look good on 80% of girls but sometimes they don't.

My gf wears them all the time but sometimes they slip when she bends over and she flashes her thong / crack.

She says she doesn't feel them fall down but sometimes they can get quite low, It doesn't bother me unless they slip to far in a public place.she's not fat at all but she's curvy.

once at the shops this woman was grabbing something off the bottom shelf and I swear half her ass was hanging out and she seemed oblivious. I thought about saying something to her but thought better of it as I didint want to come across as a perve.... So I just walked away but I felt a bit sorry for her.

Definitely miss low rise jeans on girls. :(

This high waisted trend (and dark red lipstick on pale skin) has got to go! :lmao:

Low rise jeans is very sexy to wear. Most girls wear that to attract attention.

Ha - I can't wrap my mind around the mom jeans thing either. :p

Most of the jeans I have are low rise and a good belt helps with any slippage.

I also can't get my head around mum jeans either. I also struggle to find ones that are even just waist high, they usually reach somewhere up around my ribs!

Ew no. Seeing a tantalising glimpse of flesh can be a turn on, but it has to be done on purpose. Seeing a 'builder's cleavage' whenever a girl drops something makes me dry-heave.

I don't like low-rise jeans. Feels very dated, very early 2000s. Mid-rise is the way to go. Jeans so low your thong or buttcrack gets exposed is extremely year 2000. I remember that being cool when i was a teenager. I don't wear mom or high-waisted jeans...my jeans fit right above my hips.

I thought they finally went out of style, thank goodness! There is a middle ground between low and high! We can be there! lol

Even though the style isn't contemporary, women with great bodies can still rock those... For some who arent as fit, they accentuate the soft belly and muffin top, which isn't attractive in the least.....

I loved it when they were in about 10-15 years ago...

Remember Bratz dolls?

Those come to mind for me reading the title of this thread.

In fashion or not, that was one hot style...

I wear mostly low rise jeans with a belt, it's more comfortable for me and it's cute with my outfits. :) I also do it to make sure my undergarments don't show, I don't want that kind of attention. My boyfriend loves my belted jeans so I'll wear it more often for him too. American Eagle Outfitters has some nice high rise jeans that are more stylish and don't remind me of "mom jeans".

Ha! I was going to say that low rise jeans with a thong showing is so 2005. Even then, it generally didn't look flattering on most people.

One word: trashy.

I question the taste level of anyone who likes them.

I love them and mid rise. (on me)

They're definitely difficult to pull off. I have a pretty decent body but I wouldn't wear them after my teens. I remember wearing jeans so low I'd have to be careful to make sure I'd shaved!!

I challenge any woman who says they don't notice them slipping down though, there's no way you feel air hit that part of your skin and don't realise. I always assume the girl just isn't bothered either way, but an 'oops I didn't realise' doesn't sound entirely truthful to me.

Nope - the butt crack makes a natural wind tunnel that's impossible to ignore. ;)

Haha! It's the same with guys asking if we notice when we bend over in a low cut top, do we notice our boobs hanging out? Yes! The only exception is if it's something not that low, but floaty, and you don't notice that it falls away from your body and shows your bra. But otherwise, of course it's noticeable unless you're totally unaware of your own body.

Don`t see that as much anymore. I remember 10 years ago just walking down the street all you saw was thongs and cracks. I loved it personally. :D

I like them as long as they aren't too low. I'm short waisted and I don't want to wear jeans that go up to my rib cage. I actually prefer the jeggings trend.

I like them because I'm short, but have more leg than torso - low-rise jeans tend to fit me more like mid-rise fits everyone else.

My low rise jeans have always came up to my hipbone. I've never worn any that go lower than that.

That's an example of midrise jeans. The waist line is at your hips, and there's no risk of your underwear showing as you run your errands.

These are examples of low-rise jeans:

The outline of your inguinal ligaments (or your muffin top depending on your padding) is visible. Also, as another poster mentioned, whether you shaved and which underwear (if any) you choose to wear become critical questions.
