Ic1 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) Let's share some of our favorite times going out with someone on a date, and what we had planned it to be. Ideas for others possibly? I actually keep a list of date ideas and add to it when I think of a different one. But a favorite of mine recently was planned as hiking at a park on the ocean where we brought a lunch and stopped at a pebble beach on the far side of the park to eat. Turned out to be a skipping-stone clinique, and spending the rest of the day together just exploring places. Edited November 21, 2015 by Ic1
d0nnivain Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 The list is endless. I suppose some of my favorites include: 1. the classic horse drawn carriage ride 2. trips to the beach / boardwalk 3. amusement park outings 4. football games 5. museum visits 6. going golfing 7. antiquing 9. black tie galas
Jejangles Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 My best date so far in life was a spontaneous day of plan. We headed to a local park with a city view and walked for an hour or so. It was only our third date and very new, at some point he grabbed my hand, which was very cute. We then had a picnic while watching the sun set over the city and made out a bit. Ended with heading into the city for a fantastic Thai meal at this really atmospheric and buzzing restaurant. It didn't work out between us in the end but that date was the best I have had so far. Most of my best dates have some spontaneity and usually involve time outdoors. But what really makes a date great is the chemistry you are sharing with the person you are on the date with. I have had a few dates that would have been great if I had been with someone else I liked more!

Glad you have such a memory. Karm flows, and I bet the amount you gave was making its way back to you. One date I read and thought was a good idea was making a nice (but not simple) meal together; getting everything needed from gourmet grocery/farm stand, prepping/cooking, and enjoying a candle-lit meal together.
