loveflower Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 in every ways...everything and everyone just turned out to be the opposite of what I used to imagine. Life is very ironic and sad. I don't want to go into details or write an essay about how I feel. It seems I am just not smart and strong enough for anything. Sorry for making a post like this. I don't know whom and where I can talk to. I just want to vent a little here, if it's alright. Maybe someone else here have the same feeling?
Robert Z Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation. From the desperate city you go into the desperate country, and have to console yourself with the bravery of minks and muskrats. A stereotyped but unconscious despair is concealed even under what are called the games and amusements of mankind. There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things." - Thoreau You just have to find joy in life and make that your focus. I think we all know how you feel. TheArtist Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Everyone is good at something, it's just that not everyone has found what that is yet. Try new things, even if you only have a slight interest, learn to draw, compose music, write a book, go rock climbing, take up archaeology or learn to hang-glide. Something might catch but you won't know until you've tried lighting the fuse. 'Find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.' - Julia Child Yes, we know how you feel. 2

basil67 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 You haven't really give enough info about what you're feeling. Your post is very vague. However I doubt that many of us have had life tun out the way we expects it to. This doesn't mean that life is bad - it's just different. 1
