Hi, all,

I met this nice girl in facebook while we have been chatting for around 3 weeks, we chat everyday for the first 2 weeks but then slow down a bit to every 2-3 days. I even asked her to give me her work address to send her a small gift and she did gave. I am thinking to visit her next month, and I asked her if it's possible, her reply is that she will consider it and asked me to let her know when I decided. Since then I didn't talk to her for a few days and she didn't write me either. Do you guys think I would have chance to meet her or she would reject? I am not sure if she has a boyfriend from her facebook though.

Thanks.

My money is on no, But really its 50/50 as of now. Hope you didn't spend much on the gift. Sit back and wait.

Ok, I plan to wait for another day before message her and ask about the meeting up, not sure what she might think...

I would just get it over with. Don't fret about it too much :) You can ask a more specific question like "do you want to meet up on [insert day here]?" as opposed to "do you want to meet up sometime?".

It sounds promising :) Does she live nearby?

If she was open to giving you her work address & letting you send her a "small gift" she may be open to meeting you. You won't know until you ask.

Say something causal like Can I take you to lunch sometime?

Perhaps it's cultural but I would be very uncomfortable if some guy I only met through FB wanted to send me a gift. Save the gifts for later. You can't buy people's affection.

Thanks for replies :) so I talked to her today. And I told her that I plan to go to the city she lives, and she replied that she will let me know if she has time to meet and thanks for letting her know the schedule. Then we chat about an hour later about different stuff... what you think?
