You are better off finding yourself a young buck with lots of stamina to last through the nightly grinding.

I agree she would be better off in the realm of sex with a different guy. And yes, age takes it toll on all of us.

But my last boyfriend was 44 and more sexually virile than most of the men I've had sex with. He got hard at the slightest provocation, erections were pretty much always 100%, amazing performance and stamina, refractory period of like 2 minutes, sex pretty much every day, multiple erections within a short time.

But he didn't watch porn while we were together, said it was far inferior to the real thing and, in his opinion, only a defective man would choose porn over his woman. I think porn is the bigger issue, not age. Porn overuse and addiction have had a very negative impact on the sexual mojo of many modern-day men.

How did he achieve all this? Was he very physically fit? A healthy eater? What?

I agree with this. Plus it seems your guy is hooked on looking at teenage bodies and that's part of the problem. It seems only the very young girls are turning him on.

Yeah I agree with this. I'm getting a bit tired of the bashing on multiple threads here of guys over 40.

I'm 45 and I never ever have issues with being hard or ready. The girl I'm seeing now we have sex 3 to 5 times a night every time we meet. Reload time might not be quite as quick as when I was 18, but it's still just a few minutes, and I'm less likely to blow my wad immediately like I would at 18.

And stamina wise I'm pretty much ok for as long as she wants to and more.

I don't mean this to come across as any kind of bragging. But I think there is a lot if false information being given on this forum about older guys.

The thing is, I eat ok i exercise and

I don't watch porn.

Ever.

His preference for masturbating to porn over sex is the problem here. Sounds like he either had a real addiction or he just isn't that sexually into you.

If it's the first, the only solution is to go cold turkey with porn. If the latter, then i suggest you consider ending it.

I would say end it too. I have been through the same thing. I could have handled it better as I ended up cheating on him...but here's what happened. People say it's only sex and that shouldn't mean much but I just feel really inadequate and upset that he'd prefer porn over me. If we had sex, I'd be initiating and that sucked. It got to a point where we hadn't had sex for around 6 months and my sex drive is much higher than that. When we talked about it, he just deflected and blamed it on me. It was an absolutely horrible situation to be in. To sum up, it's not shallow to see sex as important in a relationship. I realised it's actually quite a big deal if partners have different expectations or needs and that sometimes this can't be reconciled. I would talk to him and take it from there.

He's in decent shape with a naturally masculine build, but not unusually fit. Pretty healthy eater. He's also Middle Eastern. I read that Arab people are a mix of African and Asian ancestry. I once joked with him that it was the African ancestry that made him such a stud in bed, but he just rolled his eyes at that :p I think there's some truth to it, though. I've had relationships with two Arab men, and both were red hot firecrackers in bed, very manly, passionate, and intense lovers.
