broken guy Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Well, its been a week since I got any text message from my ex. If you remember, she asked about my parents divorce and I told her only to never get a reply and her ex-housemate lying saying I had been saying nasty stuff about her and to cut me off. Well, I was thinking about how she got upset when I moved my stuff out a month ago and she asked to see me for a drink as she wanted to know how I was doing (this was 2 weeks before I got the news of the divorce, made her cancel plans, went round and confessed about the problems at home and how I really wanted her back and that I had changed, regardless of the new BF she has), do I just say let meet for a drink? I know I probably shouldnt as I do still care deply for her and the thought of her and her new guy is horrific, but I just want to show her I CAN be cool and not cry. I was very nonchalont (?) in the beginning and I think that is why she seemed to get upset as I moved my stuff out, i acted as if I didnt care, then 2 weeks later I am in the same place trying to win her back after saying I wouldnt. What do you think? I KNOW Ive been told to let her be but I feel like I have left on a bad note.

Just like the others say, if its meant to be its meant to be. You will only be hurting yourself more by trying to win her back and show your weak sides. GS

Leave her, do NC..She will probably be upset in the end that you haven botherd,and may start contacting you. Even if she doesnt, yoy really should leave her be. Shes made up her mind by the sounds of it.And being friends deffiently isnt a good idea for now,for your sake. Take care, be strong, good luck!
