smudge21 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Anyone else suffer through this? Seems to happen a lot for me and I have no idea why. The pattern is always the same too. Start off as someone I know through work or mutual engagements, become friends for month or two, then something happens that changes it all. Then she pushes away whilst I get more attracted. Eventually she'll meet someone else and that will be that, but I'll be left hurt and lost. I've read this same book so many times and I know the ending is always the same, but even now, I'm half way through it and can't just put it down. I'd really like to know if anyone goes through the same and how they deal with it. Thanks
Zippy2000 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Yeah, happened to me a lot of times when I was younger like in my 20s. I got to know them put them up on a high pedestal. A lot of girls I knew in my 20s didnt know how to rebuff you so we ended up being close friends and as I got closer they would withdraw. I ve learned now that some girls are clearer than others and tell you they arent interested and friends only. I would understand. You sound a lot like me. To learn from this and to move forward. The BEST thing is is you like a girl. Tell her early on rather than wait months or years because I have a lot of girl pals that go in to the friend zone.
