I know it depends on if the other person loves you still or not or the situation, but has anyone done it and then never heard from or contacted them again? just curious? Seems like a lot of stories use NC and then the other person becomes curious as to why we are suddenly gone and they call us?

I wanted the divorce and she wanted to reconcile but I said "no f***ing way, biotch". She wanted to remain friends. Since '97 I have not contacted or seen her and she has not contacted or seen me. But she lives in canada now so it is easy. But i found out last year that she still keeps in touch with my youngest brother. Those two always did get along pretty well i guess. They still don't know I know they keep in touch cause I busted into my bro's email acct. Little fokker
outdated Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Yes. I had a girlfriend that I dated for a couple of years. When we broke up there was total NC on my part. She sent me one e-mail that I didn't respond to and that was that. Almost two years now. Haven't heard from her or seen her once since.
loveisallaround Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Yes, a couple of years ago when I found out that my ex was cheating on me (with somebody I knew, was in contact with and went to school with since Grade 8) and never admitted it - I broke up with him, gave him back all his stuff (and the gifts he bought for me) and never looked back. He was the biggest coward I've ever came into contact with. I'm became very indifferent with him (just days after the break up) and don't give a flying **** as to what he's up to.
opaleye Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Yes. After my boyfriend cheated and dumped me I was a total loser. All wanting him back and wanting to be friends. ick it was embarrassing. Then one day about 3 weeks after we broke up I thought to myself "I wonder what will happen if I just don't bother anymore? I wonder if he will care at all enough to call me for a change?" and guess what? He didn't. I haven't contacted him for about 8 months now and the only thing I have heard from him is that he text my best friend and told her to say sorry to me. Whatever. Best thing I did was start NC with him. Plus it seems so weird that you can not see someone at all for so long. I would have thought that I may have run into him at least once considering we live around the same area and stuff but nope. Not that it bothers me! Yay for NC!
SexKitten Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 yes. it took over a year for him to stop bothering me, but i let him bother away to no avail. finally he stopped. i broke up with him and didn't speak to him about 3 years now. we together for just over 7 years.
