It can be very difficult to express romantic interests in professional situations with concern of keeping a job. If for example I am a male crushing on my female boss... Without risk of having something blow up in my face, how can a man find out if a woman might be interested? Any questions I can ask that might give some sort of hint without being too forward?

Can you like, not focus on the little scenario I brought up? I am asking a question in the title of this thread. I'm not asking for advice on whether or not I should make a move on someone.

If you have a career, want to keep having a career and ideally want to be looked at with respect by your peers/ colleagues, you will NOT shag your Boss. Everyone will think you got where you did because you slept with people. Don't crap where you eat. My advice to you: date like there's no tomorrow, get as much sex As you can and focus elsewhere. The marital status of your boss, and Even less if she is looking or not, is NONE of your businesses. Watch extremely carefully your words, actions and body language if you do not wish to have a very close and personal and sudden discussion with your HR about harassment and appropriate behavior at the work place. That will for sure put a flaming end at your blossiming career ! At the work place and in business, make sure you are thinking with the proper head !

If she is your boss I'd say leave it alone. Don't bother to get caught up in whether or not she likes you. If you can't tell, leave it at that. Since she is your superior in the work place, best to let her be the one to make it clear she likes you. If she hasn't or doesn't, best to focus on your work.
