Green lights for cold approaches

I've decided to try and 'vault' my way into the dating game rather than be as passive as I currently am, and one thing I've decided to do is try cold approaching women. Being terrible with body language, and not wanting to look like a creep, I was wondering if what signs I should look for while cold approaching a woman to see if she is:

 

a) currently open to being cold approached at this moment

 

and/or

 

b) particularly interested in meeting or talking to me

Eye contact, a smirk or smile, and generally happy looking for basic starters.

 

I think I might get on the vault, too.
