westernxer Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I'm attracted to women who are just like me... but they're hard to find. (Sorry if it sounds conceited )
alphamale Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Originally posted by johan brave, WTF does that mean? that they can "brave" all the crowds at Nordstroms?
johan Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Brave: willing to take risks, able to try new things in spite of fear. Not "manly" brave. I dig "womanly" brave. I'm not after a brawler or a war hero, if that's what you're asking. It's Nordstrom, by the way. No 's'.
Jennifer'sSecret Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 A "type"? Hmmm. He's tall, I know that for sure. He's about a 7.8 on the attractiveness scale. Broad shoulders, big strong hands. Wears cologne. Likes sports. Thinks he's the best BBQ chef in the world. He's also charasmatic as he!!, everyone loves him - the kind of guy where no matter where you go, people are like, "What up Joe!!" and not because they are scared of him or trying to kiss his ass, but because he's that cool of a guy.
Artscrafter Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I guess the main thing is that I like the secure, esoteric type. Decently good-looking, but not completely appearance-obsessed. The type that doesn't makeup/dressup/etc.up all the time because she doesn't need to - she's not out to try to impress everyone. Not afraid to take equal charge in a relationship instead of being the pursued one all the time, and considers any kind of relationship to be a nice thing to have, not a necessity. Within that set, the ones I'm particularly attracted to are of course the really hot ones who are super-charismatic and have hordes of admirers. But any girl with hordes of admirers like that will either already be dating someone or isn't looking to date anyone just then. They also tend to be real drama queens (and I mean that literally as well as figuratively - just about every girl I know who fits my description so far is into theater in some way.) The type I actually want to date, however, tends to be more the self-sufficient, laid back, almost loner type - not that she has no friends, but that she doesn't need to do everything in a large group of people to have a good time.
Jtizzle Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I would say i am attracted to tha type of male that has a sense of humor..my father side of the family aint nothin but clowns, when u go there, all you do is laugh and crack jokes..so i guess i would want a man that could make me laugh like my father.. im also attracted to guys that have goals, ambition and is willing to try anything once (no matter how scary it seems)..the type that lives life in the present/future and dont always be one of those folks with the what if, i shoulda done this.. dude also has to b nice to kids and animals so a caring person would attract me.. and im attracted to arty type of people who see OUTSIDE THE CIRCLE (im waaaaaaaay outside of the box, and into a whole new shape), also romantics catch my attention as well
lucyiam Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Badboy with big guns! (biceps) Tattos are a plus. And since I am lucy....bossy. I want a dominant stellar man in the sack. And of course all the other stuff, responsible, good job, kind, etc., blah...blah...blah.
amerikajin Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I'm attracted to the badboys sexually. My mind isn't. Interesting point, and I think it makes perfect sense. There's a difference between the initial unconscious sexual compulsion that one feels and attraction in the larger, more complete sense, which is more of a feeling of deeper connection to someone.
CurlyIam Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I have a thing for men with strong personalities. Not Mr Know-it-all, or Mr. Career guy. But he absolutely must be smart and interesting - I love reading so I need to have a conversation partner. He must be sexy if I'm going out with him too . I don't care if he can fix things around the house, I can take care of myself. It's all in his attitude. I like to have a good laugh, so guy who take themselves too seriously or are too sure of themselves are a turn off. I hate macho guys, but I do confess I love to be taken care of. It doesn't happen all that often - I guess because I seem strong, or something. I like to be considered an equal partner and I get tired of constant leading. I love going out to fancy places, so I tend to feel attracted to social butterflies. I like men who can take an opinionated gf and who aren't squashing me with their own personality. A nice fit body and not too short are all I require from a physical pov. I believe the most erotic part of someone's body is his brain, so there you have it.
BigB Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I've been thinking about this recently, and I think I have two "types". First one is the type of girl I'm instantly sexually attracted to. These are more the "bad girl" type. A little loud, flirty, funny, hot clothes, a little to much makeup, dyed hair, mildly trashy, slightly insane, etc. These girls I mostly just want to party with, have some hot sex, etc. but they are usually crazy, cheaters, or alcoholics it seems. Second are the type I get slowly attracted to as a person, the type I want long term I guess. The smart, cute, slightly tom-boyish, best friend type. Someone who likes dogs, that I could take camping, watch a movie with, etc. The blue jeans, with a pony tail, and a baseball cap, beer drinking, type. Physically I'm generally attracted to Brunette's with blue eye's, slightly thick(I likes the jiggle ) busty, and a little bit shorter than me, but I'm not very picky.
ReluctantRomeo Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Sparky, fun, interesting, dynamic, clever and articulate. In touch with her sensual side (I love giving backrubs). And someone with whom I can stay up till 6am having great conversation - and sometimes it really is just great conversation
amerikajin Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I believe the most erotic part of someone's body is his brain, so there you have it. So if I e-mail you a CAT scan of my brain you'll have ten orgasms???
blind_otter Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I am attracted to men with blue eyes and dark hair who have Scottish accents and buy me shoes as gifts instead of flowers. And who take me on stoner trips to Amsterdam.

ReluctantRomeo Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Originally posted by CurlyIam She's a perv, I knew it, I knew it!!! She just loves to watch him hitch up his sporran and blow his bagpipes... Her favourite tunes? The Campbells are coming. You take the high road and I'll take the low road. High in the highlands
MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I'm attracted to guys who smile at me and look into my eyes and flirt a bit. But if they're too good-looking or hold power (ie company president) I get intimidated! I also seem to be attraced to lonely guys who haven't had a lot of relationships, not sure why, I guess I just like the attention they give me. I also like the rough look, tattoos, bad-boy but I am also intimated cuz I am kind of a goody-goody geek (although some friends of mine would beg to differ). But these are more just fantasies, except my last bf, he was like this. Ambitious, not lazy, not obnoxious, not shy (cuz I'm shy too) and open and affectionate. I don't like a-holes! Although I'm not the best judge of character, so it might take me a while to learn this. I have to be able to be myself comfortably around them. If I'm a little bit intimidated, I always end up messing things up. Oh, and bald guys.....I don't know what it is, maybe it's just my age, and that's all that's left!
blind_otter Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Originally posted by CurlyIam She's a perv, I knew it, I knew it!!! You're just jealous. I'm in L VE! And I love his hairy toes, and his slightly bushy eyebrows which I wrestled him to the ground and trimmed. And I love the way he went on and on about AC Milan losing to Liverpool last night. So there. And I would like to see him in a kilt. Word on the street is that they don't wear knickers under there. Easy access.
Linlin Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Originally posted by blind_otter I like men who: Are confident in themselves Will spoil me Are financially stable Are "manly men" who can fix things and put things together Are dominant in the bedroom Make me feel special and treat me like a queen Word Mike Holmes is the secret object of my affection. I also like guys who are athletic. I always seem to end up with some sort of jock but since I play so many sports that is good. Superficially, I like them over 6', slightly muscular but larger build. Blue eyes and dark hair a bonus. Like to have lots of sex.

But just pop 'em in yer mouth and seconds later IT'S HUGE! How does that happen???
Treasa Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 The geeks and roleplayers. I LOVE a man who knows a lot about D&D and/or Star Wars, and I also want someone who has a college degree and loves to read. Thankfully my current man fits the bill.
RecordProducer Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Personality traits: Self-confident, successful, passionate, sexual, energetic, honest, sincere, good-hearted, cheerful, educated, monogamous, generous, with good manners. Physically: brown or blond hair, thin face, fit and athletic, at least 10 years older than me, good body posture, clean, no tattoes... don't like perfect beauty. Drug users, alcoholics or guys with mental disease history are out of question.
morrigan Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 What type are YOU attracted to and Why? Guys around my age that physically look like trouble--beards, long hair, tattoos-- but are reserved and even tempered personality wise. I just don't find men physically attractive who don't have a rougher appearance, those are the type of males I grew up around. I don't like any brawlers or heavy drug users, though. What makes someone appealing to you? Kindness, even temper, honesty, sincerity, intelligence, similar interests in music/books, likes to go hiking and camping, good relationships with family/friends. A quiet guy with quirks who doesn't see me as a bimbo or a trophy. Someone who doesn't need to be constantly entertained or desires hordes of people around all the time.
