Anyway I did that, but she is busy working and will let me know when she is free when she gets her new rota. Here was the end of the conversation: Girl: Hahaha I need a bit of your predicting power!! Me: What would you like them for? Be sensible Girl: I would like to know where will I stay next year in june! Me: You'll be in Manchester, because I'll still be taking you to all the cool places Girl: Oh yes! Girl: I like that prediction! Me: How about I take you to your first cool place, and take you out Thursday if you're free? Girl: I'm working from today until Saturday, and I'm on standby on Sunday. So when I see the new rota I'll let you know when I'm off. So what should I reply with? Should I keep contact going until she mentions it? Or should I just wait for her to let me know?
they Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 i'd just say : "Great, let me know [talk about something else here] It was probably a positive response, so why stop contact? but it is up to you dude, im not a dating guru or whatever, and i am wary of anyone who claims to be. many times 'advice' i found had blown my chances.

Keep the conversation going. I take it you have spoken on the phone by now?

Keep the conversation going. I take it you have spoken on the phone by now? Only spoken for a few days, but not on phone. I'll mention it when I message and try to arrange a call tomorrow, but I am working until very late (except Thursday) this week, so maybe that's the day to call. Ideally I was wanting to flirt with her, but not so much we'd be talking for ages without meeting which was the mistake I made last time.

I am part of the camp that says you should get a phone number as soon as possible in the conversation. Secondly, don't just tell her 'let me know' or something like that. That's terrible advice. If I've learned anything in this community over the past few days it's that women still do not like to chase men. Breaking news, apparently. Figure out when she gets her new rotation and message her after that asking when she has time. Until then, keep in contact. Build that rapport. 1

I pretty much teased her, made her laugh and got her number on the dating website, then repeated a similar process through texting and tried arranging to meet up. So what you're saying is that I could base her getting her new rota on the time that I get mine? Which is usually the saturday for me, so I will ask then. We've been keeping to a maximum of two texts to each other a day, but obviously I don't want to ask her too much and have her KNOW too much about me. I try to throw a joke in there like if they ask where I work, I say I'm a secret agent who, so and so, etc. I'll bring up about phoning her in the next couple of texts too.
