FeelingFireworks Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Totally agree. Thoughts such as: Do they like me Why haven't they texted/called/emailed/ me back Did I say/do something to upset them ....and variations thereof Symptoms of a "who will I get" attitude that all of us have fallen victim to at times. Not always bad to reflect on your own behaviour but the extent of it sometimes can sometimes adversely affect your esteem and make you forget that you need to be pleased too. So each time I think like that, I also interject thoughts such as: Do I like him Does he get/please me He hasn't called/emailed/texted - either a "thank heavens" or "foolish man, his loss" I put my best foot forward so he either likes it or not ....and variations thereof Symptoms of a "who will get me" mindset which done right is definitely a winning formula.
