truth_seeker Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I honestly think that you are reading too much into her behavior. She sounds like she is being friendly at work and nothing more. I mean, it kind of is a routine to start calling regulars at the gym by name once staff gets to know the member.. that's not out of the ordinary. Yes and no. She could just be doing her job, but what a great way for women to play games then use "I'm just doing my job" if anything backfires.

The first few weeks she wouldn't hardly say a word to me then all of a sudden she started talking to me. I guess she's still better than that hot 17 year old at work I still like. That girl she's more timid and moody towards me now and tries to avoid me a lot. However the other day she was more talkative because I asked her about her home coming dance which she said was boring and she didn't have a date for it because she didn't want one when asked. She should have taken me lol. Anyways I commented yesterday on a pic of her in her homecoming dress and said it looked nice and she looked beautiful. I happen to run into her in the parking lot when she was coming to work and she giggled at me and said "hi". So she wasn't creeped by it. Then again women like that type of attention because it boost their self esteem. Dude, you are 31 years old. You don't really need to be discussing homecoming dances/dresses with anyone, unless you have a daughter that age. Don't be confused about what your attention means to them. Stop reading into things. She giggled because she doesn't know how else to handle unwanted attention. It's not boosting her self esteem, it's teaching her a thing or two about life, and creepsters.

She never really talked to me much though when I checked in or left but about 2 weeks ago she started calling me by my name when I come in and leave. I mean she's always known my name why all of a sudden she starts using my name? Yesterday when I left she happened to be leaving the same time I did and I held the door for her. I talked to her about 5 minutes. She only works weekends she said and was saying she was looking for another job since she doesn't get many hours here. I mentioned the grocery store where I worked and she said she applied at another location but never got an interview and I mentioned to her maybe she should try my location. She want's another job so she can get her own place. I didn't get a chance to talk to her much today though. When I checked in She did mention she found her dog yesterday which turned it into a good day. Her dog got loose yesterday apparently. Anyways when I left she wasn't at the front desk because she was doing something. So what do you guys think of her? she seems nice, keep talking to her. If you don't actually date her, maybe you can make a new friend. about her glasses, you can just say you like her glasses. That way it doesn't come off as she should do something for you kinda thing. "I like your glasses they're pretty" will do. yeah ask her about her dog, what breed is he, how old is he, when did she get him, stuff like that. I talked to her on fb a little tonight about my feelings. I mean I asked her to hangout before and that and she knows of course I like her. Here is her reply. I'm actually cool with it. She was actually direct with me. I wish all women were like this towards men instead of usually being flakey and wont give an answer. I respect her more now. Women need to be honest like this. I appreciate what you said but I am only seventeen and I'm definitely not interested in anyone older than me sorry

No way would she have taken you, not only legal reasons...but what would everyone think of her...think of YOU? Don't comment on pics like that. Her friends know all about you I'm sure and now she can actually point it out "see, here, here is the guy that wants me".

Until you think she is actually flirting with you, I'd leave it light. Not to mention you are crushing on a 17 year old child at your work place, and I am sure she doesn't deserve or want a creeper like you interested in her.

She was saying she got a sandwich from where I work and they didn't include mayo packets and that and I told her they have a lot of new people working there who probably forgot. Anyways her brother or boyfriend of something came and brought her mayor and sat there with her. He kind of looked like a douchebag from the show Jersey Shore and looked kind of like Eminem. Kind of trashy looking. Hopefully just a brother or friend. I guess I should still keep talking to her. And she is legal age lol. She went to college but is taking some time off school right now.
