There will be creeps. Add anonymity and those creeps will say anything. They have no patience, thank goodness, so they are usually revealed rather quickly.

 

Chalk it up to a few bad apples and move on. You can also choose to get off OLD sites altogether. I don't do them myself.

So here is the solution. Just post a face pic, get fewer replies, but they will be less sexual. But then you might not get as much attention

 

Not a good idea, as people assume face pic only = something to hide (usually overweight)

 

As long as the OP isn't extremely provocatively dressed, there isn't any reason to suspect that she in any way "encourages" the behaviour - a lot of guys online just go for it and don't give a shyte - and it works for some of them some of the time, so they keep doing it. As someone else said, they have nothing to lose.

 

OP, you know what you are looking for, so when it becomes obvious that someone doesn't match, stop communicating or tell them thanks but no thanks (sounds like you did this ) and if they keep bothering you, just block.
