Tressugar Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I had a match on Tinder and immediately he began to message me. We both found that we had things in common. After a day or two of online exchanges, he asked for my number. He called and we continued to engage in intellectual banter. We ended the call by exchanging pleasantries and the very next day he message me back on Tinder...wha?! I playfully asked, " I'm fine...how are you?...did you forget my number? Lol" He responded to the first question, but not the second. His activity status showed that he was active way past my last message. I quickly surmised he wasn't serious and unmatched him. What would make a person take it back online after offline exchanges? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
lilmissjava Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I have never used Tinder but generally speaking, it sounds like he has other options and speaking to multiple women and has lost that bit of interest. Be glad he disappeared now Rather than sticking around and wasting your time. 1
Polar965 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Doesn't sound like he is very serious. That being said, why would he be if he has never met you? I don't like that online dating encourages this little back and forth of sound bites. If you have a decent phone conversation, just get together for coffee or a drink in a neutral, public location. See if there is a connection. If there is a connection and you make plans to see each other again and he is still Tindering away...then maybe you can take offense.
Inaa Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 You talked but that doesn't mean that he's not allowed to message others. I chatted with 3 different guys on tinder before I decided which one I actually like and want to go out with. And there were times when one of them bored me so I messaged the other two more... and a month passed before I chose one of them. Then I stopped messaging the others. Maybe you judged him too fast?
