Confusedovo Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Uhhh. Started messaging with a guy from OLD yesterday. Today he called me. We spoke for about an hour. Was getting along well and having a laugh. Towards the end he asked me if I was free the weekend. I told him I'm not. He said "you're on a date right" i wasn't gonna lie so said yes. He said "It will be a flop. You will be thinking about me the whole time. Then you will meet me and know I'm your boyfriend" I thought he was joking so laughed and said "it don't work like that but we will see" 5 minutes after I end the convo, he texts me saying"we spoke for an hour, you want me bad" then a pic of himself. I didn't even get a chance to reply then he sends me a LOVE song and says "this is our song" all I could think to say is "nice song" Should I run?
Glitters Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Should I run ? Do you even need to ask this ? 2
bettermistakes Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Yikes - yes, time to bail. The pic and love song were baaaad moves. 2
Author Confusedovo Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Should I run ? Do you even need to ask this ? Lol not really. There's no way he's interested in ME. Sounds like he just wants a relationship. He's also only 4 months out of a 7 year relationship. I guess I just wanted to be 100% that I'm not being too harsh. And also to share what nonsense I have to put up with with dating. This dude is a lot older than me too. You'd think he'd be able to keep his ***** under control.
Author Confusedovo Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 And I kinda feel bad for him!

Michelle ma Belle Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 His approach feels a bit aggressive and comes off a tad desperate in my humble opinion. I had a similar experience with a guy who seemed fine enough although I hadn't yet made up my mind about him either way. During our chat I must have mentioned some song I liked at the time. Next thing I know he sent me a video message of him SERENADING me THAT song karaoke style! It didn't help that he was WAY off key A bit over the top for someone I only had one short conversation with over the phone. I think the same applies to your situation. It's all fine if you've been dating for a bit otherwise, WTF? Bottom line is if it makes YOU feel uncomfortable that's all that matters.
Zippy2000 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Depends on the song. If it was The Village People "YMC", You have nothing to worry about. 2
Jame22 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 He probably already knows where you live. Running won't cure that lol

joseb Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 If someone sent this to me I would assume they were taking the piss. are you sure he's not just taking the piss? Does he have a sarcastic sense of humour?
