We had a house together, cats and we were happy a large majority of the time. We had the same issues that most couples have at some point. Silly little fights. But it transpired after the break up that my ex had been seeing someone 'casually' before we actually ended (which she denied but I had known for a while..) and they are together now and have been since. Me and my ex have not spoken since January this year when we got rid of the house and I told her not to contact me. I needed a lot of time to recover. I have recently become a lot stronger and am moving on and starting to date again My ex has no way of knowing this as I blocked her on Facebook and anything else she could see of mine. But today I got a text asking how I am, that she's sorry for missing my bday last week and that she thinks it's time for us to 'catch up' if I feel ready. I did not reply. But I had a missed call, a WhatsApp and a text. I just want to know why now? What are your thoughts? I don't want to ask her this as I do NOT want contact. I'm better off without her.
mightycpa Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Why ask why? Is there any answer to the question WHY that will make you feel better? You're clearly not ready. Indicate that by ignoring the message. I guess you forgot to block texts and calls and whatnot.

Mrlovahlovah Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Whatever reason it may be it's most likely not the one you are hoping for. Shes got a boyfriend. Might be guilt might be genuine caring for you as a friend. so unless you want her as a friend stay away.
