tokyo
How come that some people are never jealous? I know that jealousy is related with insecurity, but I also know people who are not the epitome of self-confidence, they also have their share of weak spots, so why don't they don't suffer this obsession about their partner? What can you do against it?
d'Arthez
There are at least two causes for not being jealous. The first one is confidence in oneself, and not being insecure. Build your confidence. There are tons of ways to do so. It is discussed daily on LS how to do so. The second one is being "naive". It is somewhat connected with innocence. There is no easy way to become "naive" again; it takes years of dedicated work on yourself.
Thinkalot
it sure can be a tough one to overcome. I have been jealous and still do get jealous. I get insecure. I need to build my self esteem and self confidence where I feel completely secure in who i am and where I stand with my parter (or whatever else the situation may be)...so that jealousy doesnt occur. when I was younger, it is true, I was not as jealous. I was very naive and trusting. It didnt even occur to me to be jealous, if that makes sense. I was also a bit arrogant I think and so sure that I knew best. lol
