When I say long term, I mean a year or more of exclusivity.

I was 25 & I've been in it now for about 1.5 years.

14. He was 17 and it lasted about two years

20 - almost five years.

Married him and was divorced before my 25th birthday (he came out of the closet).

I was about 17 when we started dating. It lasted about 2,5 years

I dated the same guy for 1.5 years in highschool (when I was 17-18) but it wasn't an intense we are going to be forever together type thing. We cared about each other, bumped uglies and spent time together.

Met my current guy when I was 24, still together 14 years later (but not married etc, we are a bit unconventional).

23, but that doesn't mean I didn't date causually in college as that is what you are supposed to at that age. 23 is just when I first started thinking of a future with a guy.

My first LTR was at 19, we lasted about 1.5 years - dunno if I would call it 'serious' though, it lasted long enough but we didn't live together or anything. My SO and I have been together since we were 21.

Was incarcerated at the tender age of 19 in a non marital relationship which lasted 11 years.

I was 18 (so was he) and we stayed together until we were 23. Lived together for 3 of those years.

At 17 I met a man I married and was with 15 years.

Even though I read your qualifiers for the posed question, OP, my first serious and committed relationship was at 15, my first long-term relationship was at 21, and my first serious, long-term, committed relationship (and the one in which I truly learned what love is all about) was at 38.

I was 30 - 2 years. I was fat, low self-esteem, nerdy, in HS & College. Then went into missionary work for 6 years. Now I'm 34 and have had two LTRs. Neither worked out, but I learned important lessons about finding someone into me.....and not trying to fix broken POS's.

29 and never had an LTR. Still waiting.:(
